{"id":1670,"date":"2023-10-20T07:21:40","date_gmt":"2023-10-20T07:21:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.usamvcluj.ro\/en\/?p=1670"},"modified":"2023-10-20T07:21:40","modified_gmt":"2023-10-20T07:21:40","slug":"usamv-cluj-napoca-in-the-times-higher-education-2024-ranking","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.usamvcluj.ro\/en\/2023\/10\/20\/usamv-cluj-napoca-in-the-times-higher-education-2024-ranking\/","title":{"rendered":"USAMV Cluj-Napoca in the Times Higher Education 2024 ranking!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Our university is ranked in the global ranking 2024 on the 1,001-1,200th place, and in the ranking by fields, USAMV Cluj-Napoca is ranked 601-800th &#8211; Life Sciences.<br \/>\nIn 2023, the Times Higher Education rankings, now in their 20th edition, used a modified methodology to better reflect the performance of research-focused universities. <!--more-->As a result, the number of performance indicators has been increased from 13 to 18 and they are grouped into five categories:<br \/>\nTeaching (learning environment) &#8211; share 29.5%;<br \/>\nResearch environment (volume, revenue and reputation) &#8211; 29% share;<br \/>\nResearch quality (citation impact, research quality, research excellence and research influence) &#8211; 30% share;<br \/>\nInternational perspectives (staff, students, research) &#8211; share 7.5%;<br \/>\nImpact on industry (revenue, patents) &#8211; 4% share.<br \/>\nIn total, 25 universities from Romania appear in the ranking, but only six, including USAMV Cluj-Napoca, were included in the top 1,200 places. The 2024 edition of Times Higher Education includes 1,908 universities from 108 countries.
