{"id":1961,"date":"2024-07-08T07:47:17","date_gmt":"2024-07-08T07:47:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.usamvcluj.ro\/en\/?p=1961"},"modified":"2024-07-08T07:47:17","modified_gmt":"2024-07-08T07:47:17","slug":"third-prize-at-ecotrophelia-2024-for-b12-fusion-a-project-by-students-from-the-faculty-of-food-science-and-technology","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.usamvcluj.ro\/en\/2024\/07\/08\/third-prize-at-ecotrophelia-2024-for-b12-fusion-a-project-by-students-from-the-faculty-of-food-science-and-technology\/","title":{"rendered":"Third prize at Ecotrophelia 2024 for B12 Fusion, a project by students from the Faculty of Food Science and Technology"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-size: 14.0pt;\">Our University was represented, between 12-14 June, at the national stage of the International Student Creative Competition Ecotrophelia Romania 2024, organized by the University of Life Sciences &#8220;Ion Ionescu de la Brad&#8221; Iasi, by a team from the Faculty of Food Science and Technology.<\/span><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14.0pt;\">The FSTA team, coordinated by Assistant Professor Dr. Adrian Mart\u0103u, presented only one project, which was awarded the 3rd prize: B12 Fusion &#8211; a pastry roll enriched with vitamin B12 from a biotechnological source (fermentation).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14.0pt;\">Congratulations to the USAMV Cluj-Napoca team, composed of R\u0103zvan Odochean, Marius Chejan, Claudiu Neme\u0219 and M\u0103d\u0103lina Plosca!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14.0pt;\">Ten student teams and 22 coordinating professors from six universities, including USAMV Cluj-Napoca, participated in Ecotrophelia Romania 2024.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14.0pt;\">Ecotrophelia is a European competition for students promoting innovation in food with a focus on sustainability and eco-innovation.
