The University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine (USAMV) Cluj-Napoca is organizing, on 30 May 2025, the 12th edition of the Food Festival, a reference event dedicated to food innovation, which brings to the forefront the creativity and practical skills of the final year students from the Faculty of Food Science and Technology.<\/p>\n
At the Biodiversity Research Center, the festival will bring together more than 50 innovative food products, developed as part of undergraduate work, and grouped into four sections: meat products, dairy products, bakery products, pastries and confectionery, and miscellaneous products.<\/p>\n
Notable concepts in this edition include:<\/p>\n
– PurpleDogs – meat-based snack;<\/p>\n
– CraftBeer Bites – craft beer bites with cranberries;<\/p>\n
– CrenVital – Black Angus beef protein hot dogs;<\/p>\n
– Pink Kefir and GoldenChill LactoFree – functional and lactose-free dairy products;<\/p>\n
– Ganoderma muffins and Gingerbread with herbs – creations from the bakery section;<\/p>\n
– CHOCOLINA – Sugar-free chocolate, Artisanal Zephyr or Fig and Rhubarb Spread from the pastry and confectionery category;<\/p>\n
– Melatonin beer, Quince mead, Pinapple cider;<\/p>\n
– In the “Miscellaneous” category: vegan protein bars, microprotein gummy candies, Brocco Bites Snack, Oxibar or Functional Jelly with probiotics, CajuCult – vegan alternative with probiotic power.<\/p>\n
The students’ innovative work will be judged by four different juries, according to the four sections, between 8.00 – 12.00, and the award ceremony will start at 12.30.
