The oldest student competition in the country – Agronomiada – took place in 2025, from May 22-25, in the Republic of Moldova, at the Technical University of Moldova. The organization in Chisinau was a first in the 35-year history of the Agronomiada competitions, which enjoyed the participation of about 450 students and teachers from faculties and universities, as follows: the University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Bucharest, the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine Cluj-Napoca, the University of Craiova, the University of Life Sciences “Ion Ionescu de la Brad” of Iasi, the University of Life Sciences “King Mihai I” of Timisoara and the Technical University of Moldova.<\/span><\/p>\n

The delegation of our university numbered over 80 students and professors, and was joined by Prof. Dr. Cornel C\u0103toi – Rector of USAMV Cluj-Napoca, who delivered his academic message at the opening ceremony.<\/span><\/p>\n

The participants of Agronomiada 2025 competed in 19 specialized professional-scientific competitions and 5 sports competitions, which highlighted team spirit, fair-play and youthful energy. The USAMV Cluj-Napoca delegation won 18 prizes, including 6 first place, 5 second place and 7 third place. Congratulations to the USAMV Cluj-Napoca delegation, which was led by Prof. Dr. Sorin V\u00e2tc\u0103 – Vice-rector of Social and Student Activities!<\/span><\/p>\n
