{"id":2499,"date":"2026-01-20T07:54:32","date_gmt":"2026-01-20T07:54:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.usamvcluj.ro\/en\/?p=2499"},"modified":"2026-01-20T07:54:34","modified_gmt":"2026-01-20T07:54:34","slug":"usamv-cluj-napoca-in-the-times-higher-education-the-world-university-rankings-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.usamvcluj.ro\/en\/2026\/01\/20\/usamv-cluj-napoca-in-the-times-higher-education-the-world-university-rankings-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"USAMV Cluj-Napoca in the Times Higher Education (THE) \u2013 World University Rankings 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2026 <\/strong>was published on Thursday, 9 October 2025, and the global trust placed in the world&#8217;s best universities by students, academics, governments and industry experts was expressed in a list including 2,191 institutions from 115 countries and territories.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Our university ranks 1,201-1,500 in the recently published ranking, and in the subject rankings, <strong>USAMV Cluj-Napoca <\/strong>remains in 601-800 in the Life Sciences subject area.<\/p>\n<p>The scores obtained by our university in 2026 in the five areas evaluated are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Teaching (learning environment) = 19.7 (\u2191);<\/li>\n<li>Research environment (volume, income and reputation) = 10 (\u2191);<\/li>\n<li>Research quality (citation impact, research quality, excellence and research influence) = 52.3 (\u2193);<\/li>\n<li>Impact on industry (income, patents) = 22 (\u2013);<\/li>\n<li>International outlook (staff, students, research) = 37.5 (\u2193).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In total, 22 universities from Romania appear in the ranking, but only seven \u2013 including USAMV Cluj-Napoca \u2013 were included in the top 1,500 places.
