The latest edition of the ranking of the world’s most cited scientists, compiled by Stanford University (USA) in collaboration with Elsevier BV, features eight representatives of our academic community.<\/span><\/p>\n

The ranking of the world’s most cited scientists is a publicly available database. The selection is based on the top 100,000 researchers worldwide, classified into 22 fields and 174 scientific subfields, according to the standard Science-Metrix classification.<\/span><\/p>\n

The ranking is based on information provided by the +SCOPUS database and classifies the scientists with the most citations for both 2024 and their entire career.<\/span><\/p>\n

Eight representatives of our academic community are included in the Top World Ranking 2%<\/strong>:

\n       \u2022 Prof. Dr. Andrei Daniel MIHALCA \u2013 Faculty of Veterinary Medicine;
