The University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine (USAMV) Cluj-Napoca will also be present as a partner at this year\u2019s Agraria 2026, taking place from 23 to 26 April in Jucu (Cluj County).<\/p>\n
Through its partnership with Agraria, USAMV Cluj-Napoca is once again offering visitors to this year\u2019s event a range of engaging activities, important information at the stands showcasing its educational programmes, demonstrations of agricultural machinery, workshops on highly relevant subjects, as well as the sale of its own produce from its farms, holiday resorts and pilot stations.<\/p>\n
Throughout the fair, USAMV Cluj-Napoca will be presenting its 2026 admission offers for its six faculties at its educational stand, with information and advice provided by teaching staff and student volunteers.<\/p>\n
The Faculty of Agriculture will also set up a stand showcasing innovative technologies in the fields of agricultural mechanisation and soil cultivation, the safe application of plant protection products, and the safe use of agricultural resources. There will also be short demonstrations on testing and diagnosing plant protection product application equipment, as well as presentations on tractors and agricultural drones.<\/p>\n
An important part of USAMV Cluj-Napoca\u2019s participation in Agraria 2025 is the hosting of three workshops in the Forum tent.<\/p>\n
The Faculty of Animal Science and Biotechnology is also involved, as it is every year, at Agraria. At the 2026 edition, Associate Professor Dr Eugen Jurco will take part, alongside students specialising in Animal Science and Animal Behaviour and Welfare<\/a>, in the evaluation of heifers (bonitation) on 24 April (at 11.00 am) as part of the Zootehnica Show.<\/p>\n Last but not least, USAMV Cluj-Napoca invites all participants to its stand featuring its own products, where the following will be available for sale: wines from the Apoldia Maior Wine Estate, cold-pressed sunflower oil from Cojocna Farm, savoury snacks and biscuits from the pilot station of the Faculty of Food Science and Technology, teas from the plantations of the Faculty of Agriculture, and natural grape juice produced at the Horticultural Research Station.<\/p>\n
