Researchers\u2019 Night 2026 is a major event, eagerly anticipated by participants of all ages and exhibitors alike. On 25 September, our university is offering a wide range of interesting activities through the SCIENCE4FUTURE-IV project, funded by the Marie Sk\u0142odowska-Curie Actions under the Horizon Europe programme.<\/p>\n
On the forecourt in front of the \u2018Horia Demian\u2019 Sports Hall, between 1.00 pm and midnight, no fewer than 21 workshops, demonstrations and themed science and technology exhibitions, organised by students, lecturers and researchers from our faculties, research institutes and research stations, will be presented to enthusiasts of all ages visiting the event.<\/p>\n
Once again this year, Cluj-Napoca, alongside Ia\u0219i, Bistri\u021ba, Sighetu Marma\u021biei, Beclean, N\u0103s\u0103ud, S\u00e2ngeorz-B\u0103i, Pa\u0219cani and H\u00e2rl\u0103u, joins the more than 400 European cities dedicated to science and innovation. Our city thus becomes part of one of the best-known European initiatives for popularising science, which, over the course of its more than 20 years of existence, has established itself as a unique opportunity for the younger generation of pupils and students, as well as for the wider community, to discover the world of research and innovation.<\/p>\n
The event is the flagship activity of the SCIENCE4FUTURE-IV project, funded through the Marie Sk\u0142odowska-Curie Actions under the Horizon Europe programme. The project is initiated and implemented by Babe\u0219-Bolyai University, in partnership with the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine in Cluj-Napoca, the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, the \u2018Gheorghe Asachi\u2019 Technical University in Ia\u0219i and the Bistri\u021ba-N\u0103s\u0103ud Museum Complex.<\/p>\n
The main objective of the SCIENCE4FUTURE-IV project is to bring research closer to the general public by presenting the methods used and the results obtained, thereby contributing to a better understanding of the importance of research, innovation and technology transfer. At the same time, the project aims to highlight the role of researchers and the impact of their work on everyday life and the development of society.<\/p>\n
