On 15 September 2026, Shanghai Ranking Consultancy<\/strong> published the 2026 Global Ranking of Academic Subjects (GRAS),<\/strong> one of the most comprehensive and objective global assessments of universities by academic discipline. This year\u2019s ranking covers 57 disciplines across the fields of natural sciences, engineering, life sciences, medical sciences and social sciences. In total, the 2026 edition of GRAS includes approximately 2,000 universities, representing 96 countries and regions. The ranking is based on nine indicators grouped into five categories, with the research component being the most significant.<\/p>\n
