Foray into the history of USAMV Cluj-Napoca in the outdoor exhibition “Tradition and Modernity”, at the Time Tunnel, between November 29, 2022 – January 10, 2023

The University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine Cluj-Napoca invites you to the “Tradition and Modernity” Exhibition, a foray into the history of the higher education institution, from its establishment in 1869 until today. The exhibition, organised in partnership with the National History Museum of Transylvania, within the Time Tunnel structure, is located outdoors, on the pedestrian area of the Erpolor Boulevard in Cluj-Napoca, near the Monument of the Memorandists, and is available for viewing between November 29, 2022 – January 10, 2023.

Academic history enthusiasts and not only, will be able to admire documents and photos, some for the first time, about the establishment and the first years of existence of the university, but especially about the outstanding personality of Mihai Șerban, director and the first holder of the title of Rector of USAMV Cluj-Napoca.

The exhibition also highlights the transformations and progress of the education and research process up to the present day, as well as the development stages of USAMV Cluj-Napoca, a university that scores annually in the national and international ranking, in various specific fields.
