News in the academic structure of USAMV Cluj-Napoca, for the academic year 2022-2023

The University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine Cluj-Napoca announces the establishment of the sixth faculty in the portfolio, the Faculty of Forestry and Cadastre, as well as changes in the structure and name of the Faculty of Horticulture, which becomes the Faculty of Horticulture and Business in Rural Development .

The decision to establish the new faculties was approved in the USAMV Cluj-Napoca Senate Meeting on 15.04. 2022 and by HG no. 978/3.08.2022, published in Official Gazette no. 781 of August 5, 2022.

“The establishment of the new faculties is based on evidence that they will be sustainable financially, academic and research  structures, as well as that they will ensure a better management of resources and develop coherent and specific strategies for institutional development, in accordance with the principles of university autonomy and responsibility ”, said the rector of USAMV Cluj-Napoca, Prof. Dr. Cornel Cătoi.
