“Perfume of Cluj” – visiting the collection of over 300 varieties of roses at USAMV Cluj-Napoca

The University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine Cluj-Napoca invites you to “Perfume of Cluj”, an event dedicated to rose lovers, which will take place on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at the Horticultural Research Station in the Gheorgheni district.

For decades, the resort has hosted an impressive collection of over 300 varieties of roses, including 46 varieties created over time by USAMV Cluj-Napoca specialists.

Between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., visitors will have the opportunity to admire the roses in full bloom, receive advice on their care from station specialists and take photos. On the same day, the meeting of the members of the “Friends of the Roses” Association from Romania, established in 1990 and affiliated to the World Rose Society (WRF), will take place.
