USAMV Cluj-Napoca at Agraria 2022: educational stand, agricultural specialists, sale of products from own stations

The University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine Cluj-Napoca announces its participation, as a partner, in the International Fair of Agriculture, Food Industry and Agricultural Livestock, between May 5-8, 2022, in Jucu.

The participation of USAMV Cluj-Napoca is built on several segments, in the foreground being the educational stand, together with the forum presentation sessions by our specialists from the Faculty of Agriculture,as well as of Horticulture and Business in Rural Development alongside 50 volunteer students in this edition.

Another important component of our participation at Agraria 2022 is the presentation of our own products for sale. Thus, the Cojocna Farm will offer organic cheeses and cold-pressed sunflower oil, the Horticultural Research Station will offer potted geraniums and strawberry stolons, and the campus greenhouses will participate with cherry tomatoes and aromatic plants. These products are joined by the wines from the Vinea Apoldia Maior Wine Resort: Eruditus, Docentus, Gewürztraminer, and Sauvignon Blanc. Visitors to Agraria 2022 will also be able to enjoy a la carte menus, using ingredients from Gourmeticus Academicum.

Another point of attraction will be  the mini-exhibition of cattle from Cojocna Farm, which will bring four specimens to Agraria 2022 – two from the Montbelliarde breed and two from the Steppe Grey breed.
