USAMV Cluj-Napoca hosts for the first time an event from the European University Association calendar, dedicated to the strategy of sustainable development in doctoral schools

The University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine Cluj-Napoca is hosting, on January 19-20, 2023, an event from the calendar of the European University Association – Council for Doctoral Education (EUA – CDE), with the participation of over 70 specialists from numerous higher education institutions, EUA – CDE members.

The 2023 #EUACDE meeting will focus on how universities can develop a strategic approach to sustainability in doctoral education, while preserving key principles and values. During the two days, participants will discuss the role of schools and doctoral programmes in confronting the climate crisis, how doctoral education plays an important role in the transition to a carbon-neutral society, and in preparing future generations of researchers.

On behalf of USAMV Cluj-Napoca, members of the university management and the two Doctoral Schools will take part in the official opening of the meeting and in the programme debates.
