The University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine (USAMV) Cluj-Napoca announces the organization of the annual Food Festival on June 9, 2023, at the Biodiversity Research Center on campus.

It will be the 10th anniversary edition, where students of the Faculty of Food Science and Technology (FSTA) will present their undergraduate work, most of the innovative food products having already won medals at international invention fairs such as ProInvent.

Among the delicacies proposed for judging are Micro Orange CakePops with microcapsules containing citrus essential oil, pine seed and parsley leaf ice cream, innovative beer made from oak acorn, chocolate pralines enriched with aronia powder, Wakame seaweed breadsticks and beechnut halva or celery stalk crackers.

The 55 products will be divided into six categories and will be evaluated by representatives of 18 stakeholder companies, future collaborators in the field.
