“Green Campus – The Faculty is cooler than you thought!”, an event dedicated to high school students, which promotes through attractive activities the study programmes of the Faculty of Animal Science and Biotechnology

The Faculty of Animal Science and Biotechnologies (FZB) of the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine (USAMV) Cluj-Napoca is hosting on Saturday, 27 May 2023, the annual event dedicated to high school students “Green Campus – The Faculty is cooler than you thought!”, promoting its undergraduate degree programmes in Animal Science; Biotechnologies; Animal Behaviour and Welfare.

Green Campus will start at 10 am, on the stage in front of the Aula Magna “Mihai Șerban” and will be attended by over 100 students from XI-XII forms from ten high schools: “Ana Ipătescu” Theoretical High School Gherla, “Someș” Technological High School Dej, “Avram Iancu” National High School Câmpeni, “Alexiu Berinde” Agricultural Technical High School Seini, “Constantin Brâncuși” Technical High School Dej, “Gelu Voievod” Theoretical High School Gilău, “Emil Racoviță” Theoretical High School Baia Mare, “Ana Aslan” High School Cluj-Napoca, “Al. Papiu Ilarian” Dej, “Andrei Mureșanu” Dej National High School.

In 2023, the event is organized in partnership with the Emergency Situations Inspectorate “Avram Iancu” Cluj, which will present a workshop on first-aid measures, respectively with the Cluj County Public Mountain Rescue Service Salvaspeo Cluj, which has scheduled an instruction on proper conduct during mountain hiking, as well as recreational workshops Slack-line, Indian Bridge, Node 8.

Teachers and 45 FZB student volunteers will deliver engaging presentations and curricular activities for high school students.
