USAMV Cluj-Napoca at Cluj Days 2023: wine stands and university products, “Cluj Horticultural Days”, parade, student concerts and activity with therapy dogs, between 19-21 May

The University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine (USAMV) Cluj-Napoca is pleased to announce the activities held on the occasion of Cluj Days, from 19-21 May 2023. Thus, on the campus, on the plateau in front of the Aula Magna “Mihai Șerban”, from 10.00 to 19.00, the Faculty of Horticulture and Rural

Development Affairs is organizing the 2nd edition of “Cluj Horticulture Days”, with specialists from the university and guests, who will hold interesting workshops, exhibitions and demonstrations.

Another event in the Cluj Days calendar will take place on May 20 (11.00 – 13.00), on the plateau behind the Aula building – “Happy Tails in the campus”, with teams of people and dogs (Be Kind to Animals Programme), together with students from the Ethology & Human-Animal Interaction master’s programme (Faculty of Animal Science and Biotechnology).

Under the aegis of the Union of Cluj Universities, we are also happy to contribute to the events of the first edition of University Days, included in the calendar of Cluj Days, from 15-20 May. We invite you to the performances of our students from the Folklore Ensemble “Tradiții Someșul Napoca” and the light music band Yelia, on 20 May, on the stage of Iulius Mall.

The participation of USAMV Cluj-Napoca in Cluj Days would not be complete without the integration of healthy products from its own farms and stations at the stands in the Central Park: cheeses, dairy products, cold-pressed sunflower oil from Cojocna Farm, aromatic wines from the Vinea Apoldia Maior Vineyard, aromatic herbs, teas, essential oils from the Faculty of Agriculture.
