Assistant professor Lavinia Călinoiu Mureșan, first place at the Rada Mihalcea Annual Awards Gala

Congratulations to Assist. prof. Lavinia Călinoiu Mureșan, awarded with the first prize at the Annual Awards Gala “Young Researchers in Science and Engineering”, organized by the City Hall of Cluj-Napoca, in partnership with Prof. Dr. Rada Mihalcea!
The ceremony, which took place at the Casino Centre for Urban Culture, was also attended by members of the research team led by Prof. Dr. Dan C. Vodnar, from the Faculty of Food Science and Technology, USAMV Cluj-Napoca!These annual awards, initiated in 2015,acknowledge young researchers in science and engineering at a national level who, through their work, have shown excellence and made outstanding contributions to their field and society. In 2023, the competition was in its 9th year and attracted over 50 applications from across the country.
Prof. Rada Mihalcea teaches at the University of Michigan and has been an Honorary Citizen of Cluj-Napoca since 2014!
