Award-winning wines from Vinea Apoldia Maior winery showcased at Central Park Wine Festival

Our University participated once again this year in the already traditional Central Park Wine Festival, in the “Simion Bărnuțiu” Central Park in Cluj-Napoca, from 24 to 27 August. During the four days of the, as part of the event since the first edition, USAMV Cluj-Napoca presented selected labels from its own estate – Vinea Apoldia Maior.

Thus, every day of the festival, hundreds of wine enthusiasts were delighted and enjoyed the aromas of the gold-winning wines from international competitions – Sauvignon Blanc 2022, Riesling Italian 2021 and Traminer Rose 2021, along with the other wines presented – Pinot Gris semi-sweet 2021 and a coupage- Orange Optimus, Eruditus and Semper 2021.
The tastings would not have been complete without the fresh fruit from the Horticultural Research Station (SCH) and the on-campus teaching orchard of the Faculty of Horticulture and Rural Development Affairs, paired excellently with cheeses from Cojocna Farm.
These were four days full of fun, relaxation and the joy of being together, just like every edition of the festival! We look forward to seeing you again in 2024!
