International Conference “Life Sciences for Sustainable Development”, with the participation of more than 250 life scientists from 15 countries, at USAMV Cluj-Napoca

The University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine (USAMV) Cluj-Napoca is hosting the International Conference “Life Sciences for Sustainable Development” from 28-30 September 2023, with the participation of more than 250 specialists from Romania and 14 other countries.
The event, now in its 22nd edition, has become a tradition on the USAMV Cluj-Napoca campus and is designed as a dynamic forum covering a wide range of scientific fields.The conference features interactive sessions and panel discussions, giving researchers from around the world a chance to connect with each other. The main objective is to exchange scientific know-how, innovative ideas and concepts, insights in agriculture, horticulture, plant and animal science, food science and technology, biotechnology, veterinary medicine towards encouraging inter- and trans-disciplinarity.
Participating sessions in the proceedings: Agriculture, Environmental Protection, Horticulture, Economics and Rural Development, Animal Science, Biotechnology, Veterinary Medicine, Food Science and Technology, Geodesy, Forestry and Applied Exact Sciences.
Representatives of the six faculties of USAMV Cluj-Napoca will participate, together with specialists from Austria, Burkina Faso, Egypt, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Republic of Moldova, Poland, Spain, Serbia, Slovakia, UK, USA and Romania.
