USAMV Cluj-Napoca, at the European Researchers’ Night: workshops, exhibitions and scientific demonstrations, tasting of innovative products

The University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine (USAMV) Cluj-Napoca will be represented by teachers and students from all faculties at the European Researchers’ Night event on Friday, 29 September 2023, on the stage in front of the “Horia Demian” Sports Hall. From 13.00 to 24.00, science and innovation enthusiasts are invited to participate in workshops, exhibitions and experiments held at the USAMV Cluj-Napoca stands, in a very rich and diversified programme, suitable for all ages of participants.

Thus, the USAMV Cluj-Napoca stands will present, among others: educational offer and research projects; demonstrations with equipment for monitoring environmental parameters; exhibition of aromatic plants and essential oils; microscopy demonstrations; interactive exercises and quiz sessions on various topics; exhibition of techniques for growing plants in the laboratory and potted plants – kokedama, shiakusa, kusamono, closed and open terrariums; 3D modelling of buildings with laser scanning technology; exhibition of forestry plants; presentations of research centres and workshops in beekeeping and sericulture; demonstrations and exhibition of innovative products and research projects of the Molecular Gastronomy Laboratory; exhibition of analysis equipment in Veterinary Medicine.
There will also be tastings of products from USAMV Cluj-Napoca farms and stations, as well as the presentation of a selection of wines from the Vinea Apoldia Maior Estate.
