The Faculty of Forestry and Cadastre celebrated one year since its foundation

On the 26th and 27th October, The Faculty of Forestry and Cadastre celebrated one year of existence by organizing numerous specific events, beginning with the official opening ceremony. The ceremony took place in “Mihai  Șerban” Aula Magna and was presided over by professor Tudor Sălăgean, PhD, the faculty’s dean.

Professor Cornel Cătoi, PhD, the rector of The University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Cluj-Napoca took part in the ceremony, along with the members of the university’s and our faculty’s board, students and members of the teaching staff, as well as special guests and other collaborators and partners.

 

Heart-warming congratulatory messages were addressed by the representatives of The National Agency for Cadastre and Real Estate Publicity (NACREP), of The National Institute for Research and Development in Forestry, of The Romanian Geodetic Surveyors Union, as well as by different members of the academic communities of from Timișoara, Bucharest, Oradea, Alba-Iulia and Cluj-Napoca. Our special guests from The Forest Guard of Cluj-Napoca and from the Forestry Divisions of Cluj, Maramureș, Sălaj, Harghita and Satu-Mare counties also joined them.

 

The schedule of “The Open Days of The Faculty of Forestry and Cadastre” included, among others, roundtable discussions/workshops on various current themes in the fields of Forestry and Geodetic Engineering, with participants from the academic and business communities, as well as with representatives of The National Association of Authorized Romanian Valuers and The Romanian Geodetic Surveyors Union.

Happy Anniversary to The Faculty of Forestry and Cadastre! Congratulations on the members’ achievements and good luck to both students and members of the teaching staff with all of their upcoming projects!
