“Be motivated and make informed choices about your future!” – Association of Romanian Market Administrators (AAPR), meeting with students of USAMV Cluj-Napoca

A premiere event is scheduled, on 9 November 2023, at USAMV Cluj-Napoca: the meeting of AAPR representatives with our students, in a workshop aimed at concrete answers to specific and current questions in the field.

The event is aimed at all students, but mainly at undergraduate and masters level at four of our faculties: Agriculture; Horticulture and Rural Development Business; Animal Science and Biotechnology; Food Science and Technology. Professors and representatives of faculty and university management will also be attending, along with members of the Agro Consulting Club and our student leagues.
The meeting in the Aula Magna “Mihai Șerban” will be opened at 16.00 by the Rector of USAMV Cluj-Napoca, Prof. Dr. Cornel Cătoi, together with the President of AAPR, Teodor Ioan Birț.
The Dean of the Faculty of Horticulture and Rural Development Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mugurel Jitea, will then give a presentation on “Organised local markets, viable solutions in the direct sale of agri-food products”, followed by interactive discussions.
Among the proposed topics included are: How I can sell agri-food products in organised local markets and procedure; Necessary documentation and costs for small producers; Advantages of selling directly in organised local markets; What internship programmes can be developed in a university and AAPR partnership relationship; Markets and products in Romania – product certification and marketing.
Participating students will have the opportunity to ask questions and contribute to the open dialogue with representatives of the Romanian Association of Market Administrators.
