The Faculty of Forestry and Cadastre celebrated its one-year anniversary

The Faculty of Forestry and Cadastre celebrated, on 26-27 October 2023, one year since its foundation, through numerous events, which started with the official opening ceremony, in the Aula Magna “Mihai Șerban”, led by Prof. Tudor Sălăgean, Ph.D – Dean.

The ceremony was attended by the rector of USAMV Cluj-Napoca, Prof. Cornel Cătoi, Ph.D together with members of the university management and of our faculties, students and members of the teaching staff, as well as special guests, collaborators and partners of FSC.
Representatives of the National Agency for Cadastre and Real Estate Publicity (ANCPI), the National Institute for Research and Development in Forestry, the Romanian Geodetic Union, as well as members of the academic communities of Timisoara, Bucharest, Oradea, Alba-Iulia and Cluj-Napoca conveyed warm congratulatory messages during the ceremony. They were joined by guests from the Cluj Forestry Guard, as well as from the Forestry Directorates of Cluj, Maramureș, Sălaj, Harghita, Satu-Mare counties.
The programme of the “Days of the Faculty of Forestry and Cadastre” included round tables/workshops with various relevant issues in the fields of forestry and geodetic engineering, attended by representatives of academia and business, along with the National Association of Authorized Valuers of Romania or the Union of Geodetic Engineers of Romania.
