USAMV Cluj-Napoca at ProInvent2023: Two gold medals, 14 Diplomas of Excellence and ProInvent medals!

The innovative work of our students, professors and researchers were awarded at the International Exhibition of Scientific Research, Innovation and Invention “Pro Invent”, hosted by the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, between 25-27 October 2023, with two gold medals, 14 Diplomas of Excellence and as many ProInvent medals.

Moreover, Prof. Dan C. Vodnar, vice-rector for Research at USAMV Cluj-Napoca, was awarded with a Diploma of Excellence from the National Research and Development Institute for Chemistry and Petrochemistry – ICECHIM Bucharest, and our university received the “Andrei Ripianu” Award from UTCN.
More than 350 projects and inventions from various fields have been entered in the competition, now in its 21st edition, and participants include universities, institutes, research centres and stations, companies, inventors’ associations and individuals from the country and abroad. Congratulations to our students and colleagues from the Faculty of Food Science and Technology and the Horticultural Research Station for their hard work and results!
