USAMV Cluj-Napoca, two appearances in the prestigious university ranking Shanghai Ranking 2023, by fields of study

Our university appears in the Shanghai Ranking in the Engineering / Food Science and Technology Subfield – places 151-200 (https://tinyurl.com/bdzysfue), and in the Life Sciences / Veterinary Sciences Subfield – places 201-300 (https://tinyurl.com/bdwkn793).

This is a remarkable achievement, confirming our ongoing commitment to academic excellence and research. It is an even greater joy for us that, for the first time, we note the ranking inclusion of the Field of Food Science and Technology. Both our appearances, however, are recognition of our ongoing efforts to develop quality curricula, support cutting-edge research and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in these key areas. In total, nine Romanian universities have 19 inclusions in the 2023 edition of the 55 fields of study ranking, which features over 1,900 higher education institutions from 104 countries and regions. Globally, American universities dominate the ranking, with 4,318 appearances in total, followed by universities in China (3,390 appearances) and the UK (1,564 appearances).
