USAMV Cluj-Napoca wines presented at the “Romanian Wine Testing Event” in Dublin on the occasion of Romania’s National Day

In honour of our National Day, the Romanian Embassy in Ireland organised a special event to promote Romanian wines in Dublin, on 28-29 November 2023, including those produced by our university, at the Apoldia Maior Wine Estate!

At the Romanian Wine Tasting Event, organised in partnership with the Romanian Wine Atlas, more than 50 national brands were represented alongside a team of Romanian sommeliers who gave presentations and tastings in front of Irish wine associations, retailers, wine enthusiasts and specialised media.

Romania’s National Day was also marked by a reception attended by diplomats, members of the Romanian communities in Ireland, politicians and representatives of Dublin society, as well as major import and distribution companies, along with restaurant owners and specialist shops.

Our University was honoured to be part of the meeting to promote Romanian wines at #dublin2023, on the eve of the National Day, and brings warm thanks and congratulations to the Romanian Ambassador to Ireland, His Excellency Laurențiu Mihai-Ștefan!
