Cluj Horticulture Days, May 17-19, 2024, on campus, with various specific activities and workshops

The Cluj Horticulture Days will take place again this year, between 17-19 May, in the traditional organization of the Faculty of Horticulture and Rural Development Affairs, and in between, on 18 May, the Plant Fascination Day will be organized.

The general event, now in its 3rd edition, will be hosted on the plateau in front of the Aula Magna “Mihai Șerban”, from 10.00 to 19.00 daily, whereas on 18 May, the event will be hosted  at the Library, in the hall in front of the  Red Amphitheatre.

During these three days, horticultural specialists will present many of the secrets of this profession through workshops, exhibitions and demonstrations on campus. Other attractive topics will also be offered by our participants: garden and balcony/terrace solutions; exhibition with direct sales from producers of flowers, vegetables, ornamental and aromatic plants, fruit trees and shrubs, wine, seedlings, irrigation systems, tools, machinery, horticultural accessories, etc.; wine tasting; travel fair and many other pleasant surprises. 

As far as exhibition stands are concerned, participants should be aware that they will not pay a rental fee for the space, but they must provide everything necessary (stand/tent, table, chair, etc.). They will be provided with the space requested on the registration form, access to the set-up the day before, including transport, parking of vehicles and, if necessary, access to electricity.
