The Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Biotechnology of our university is organising the second edition of the International Seminar “Career Paths in Animal Behavior, Welfare and Human-Animal Interactions” on Friday 22 March 2024.

The event will take place in the Rector’s Building, Amphitheatre A1, from 10.00 – 12.00, with guests from the Federico II University of Naples – Dr. Danila D’Angelo and Dr. Luigi Sacchetinno, who will give an interactive lecture on the applied values of the “One Health” model in the management of dogs in shelters.

“The objective of this event is to invite nationally and internationally recognized experts to provide valuable examples of professional guidelines, best practices, challenges and working ideas in the field of human-animal interaction”, explained Prof. Dr. Alina Rusu, event coordinator.

The seminar is organized every year for current and future students of the undergraduate programs “Animal Behavior & Welfare” and “Ethology & Human-Animal Interactions”, as well as for students of other majors in animal-oriented fields at our university and for community collaborators.

The first seminar took place in March 2023 and marked the launch of the undergraduate programme in English “Animal Behaviour and Welfare”.

Admission to the seminar is free.
