More than 350 French veterinary students and 18 speakers at the Francophone Congress hosted by USAMV Cluj-Napoca

Our University hosted the third edition of the French-speaking Congress of Veterinary Medicine – VetNapoca from 15 to 17 March 2024, an event that was well attended. The most prestigious veterinary congress in Eastern Europe was attended by 355 French students from Romania, 18 veterinary speakers from France, including five graduates of USAMV Cluj-Napoca, as well as members of the management of our university. The event was opened on 15 March by Prof. Dr. Cornel Cătoi, rector of USAMV Cluj-Napoca.

During the three days of the meeting, 30 conferences and round tables were held, with debates on various topics in the field of pet medicine, new pets, wild animals, livestock and horses. Students, speakers and professors from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine interacted and exchanged views in these areas.
