The Digital Agri Challenge student competition, with total prizes of €4,500, has opened for entries. USAMV Cluj-Napoca is partnering with AgroVirtus

The Digital Agri Challenge powered by AgroVirtus (www.facebook/DigitalAgriChallenge.ro) is launching a competition for undergraduate/master/doctoral students.

The AgroVIRTUS programme is a success abroad, where it has been organised for five years, and in 2024 it will be launched for the first time in Romania. Students studying agriculture have an advantage in the competition, but the field of study is not a compulsory criterion for participation!

COMPETITION DESCRIPTION:

– The competition is open to bachelor/master/doctoral students from Romania;

– The competition is held in teams of 3-4 students from any university in Romania;

– Stage 1 of the competition is conducted ONLINE for 4 weeks using Agrovir software:

o Students will be trained in the use of Agrovir software, with which they will solve weekly tasks. During an information day, students will be able to familiarise themselves with the software and will receive assistance and support during the competition (training materials, support). o Students can email questions during the online competition for assistance

– Stage 2: 2-day academy on the USAMV Cluj-Napoca campus

O Students have the opportunity to collaborate with market leaders and experts in the agricultural field. Over the course of 2 days, teams develop both their knowledge of agricultural business and personal networking. At the Academy, students can participate in mentoring sessions, expert presentations and presentation trainings, which will further improve their presentation skills.
