Rose lovers are invited to “Cluj Perfume” on June 8 at the Horticultural Research Station of USAMV Cluj-Napoca. Cherries, vegetables, roses from the collection and wines will be on sale.

Our University, together with the Association of Friends of Roses in Romania, invites rose lovers to the traditional event “Parfum de Cluj”, which will take place this year on Saturday, June 8, at the Horticultural Research Station (SCH), which houses the collection of hundreds of rose varieties.

The collection, which is looked after by the station’s specialists, is an oasis of beauty, visited on the occasion of this event by thousands of enthusiasts from Cluj-Napoca and all over the country. They can admire 320 varieties of roses, 1,500 hybrids and 30 elites of all flowering groups.

The Association of Friends of Roses in Romania, with USAMV Cluj-Napoca as a founding member, was founded by specialists and rose lovers in 1990 and is affiliated to the World Rose Society (WRF).

Visitors to “Cluj Perfume” will have access from 5 Horticulturists Street, and the event program is from 10.00 am to 8.00 pm, during which, as every year, our stations’s specialists will answer questions about growing and maintaining roses, offer guided tours and present the dozens of varieties created at SCH over the years.
