Academicum Sauvignon Blanc 2023, awarded silver at the Concours Mondial (World Competition) in Bruxelles

Our University is pleased to announce that one of the wines produced in 2023 at the Vinea Apoldia Maior Estate – Academicum Sauvignon Blanc has been awarded a silver medal at the prestigious Concours Mondial de Bruxelles 2024.

Proudly produced at our university’s station, this remarkable wine from Sebes-Apold impressed the jury of the competition in Brussels, being praised for its exceptional flavors. Congratulations!

The Concours Mondial de Bruxelles is a worldwide benchmark, and in 2025, for the first time for Romania, the rose wine competition will take place in Constanța, between March 28-30. The Concours Mondial de Bruxelles is the first major international wine competition to choose our country as the destination for one of its competitions. Good luck to everyone!
