An ambitious project for our students will run in the academic years 2024-2025 and 2025-2026, respectively, with a total value of over four million lei.

The project “Internships – success in the professional career” submitted by USAMV Cluj-Napoca within the call “Promoting the development of high quality, flexible and labour-market correlated requirements  for tertiary study programmes – STUDENT INTERNSHIPS – Less Developed Regions”, Call Code PEO/71/PEO_P7/OP4/ESO4.5/PEO_A49 and funded through ESF +, is on the intermediate list of projects approved in the technical and financial evaluation stage, according to the announcement of AMPEO, on the website of the Ministry of Education and Employment: https://mfe.gov.ro/peo-listele-intermediare-ale-proiectelor-aprobate-si-ale-proiectelor-de-rezerva-stagii-studenti/.

The aim of the project is to improve the quality and relevance of USAMV Cluj-Napoca’s educational offer on the labor market, by cultivating entrepreneurial skills in the context of the green transition and by implementing internship programs congruent with the current demand for labor.

To achieve the goal, our university has set three specific objectives:

Improving the level of entrepreneurial skills, green skills and socio-emotional competences of 280 USAMV CN students, bachelor and master level, through two transversal courses and a thematic workshop, reserved for each year of implementation;

Optimization of the educational offer of USAMV CN through at least 36 public-private partnerships, in order to carry out 280 specialized internships of 90 hours each, correlated with the requirements of the labor market, in 12 fields of study (agronomy, biology, environmental engineering, horticulture, engineering and management in agriculture and rural development, engineering and management, geodesic engineering, forestry, biotechnology, animal science, veterinary medicine, food engineering);

Supporting the employability of future graduates of USAMV CN by outlining the personal and professional profile of the employee required on the labor market, based on the results of three statistical analyses obtained by interpreting the satisfaction questionnaires applied to practicing students and potential employers, and subsequent dissemination to project stakeholders.

The total value of the project is 4.056.148,42 RON, of which 3.975.025,43 RON represents the non-reimbursable amount of the project, i.e. the financial support granted for its implementation, and 81.122,99 RON represents the 2% university contribution.

The project is in its contracting phase and the implementation period will be 24 months. The project “Internships – career success” will cover the academic years 2024-2025 and 2025-2026. Good luck to all participants!
