USAMV Cluj-Napoca organizes the third edition of Vinea Apoldia Maior Fest, in Apoldu de Sus. Guests are expected with traditional dishes, wines from our own vineyard and performances

The University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine (USAMV) Cluj-Napoca will organize the third edition of the Vinea Apoldia Maior Fest, an event that will bring together quality music with fragrant wines and delicious traditional food in a unique setting, on September 28, 2024, in Apoldu de Sus (Sibiu County).

It is a celebration of this autumn’s rich grape harvest, and the program includes performances, DJ Set, a recital by the university’s Someșul Napoca “Traditions” Ensemble, traditional menus and wines served, small producers and craftsmen area, as well as walks and photo opportunities in the vineyard.

USAMV Cluj-Napoca has been producing wines since 2020, in the vineyard located about two kilometers from Apoldu de Sus, and so far has a portfolio of 14 labels, some of which have already won national and international awards: Sauvignon Blanc, Pink Traminer, Pinot Gris white/rose (dry/semi-sweet), Italian Riesling, Muscat Ottonel, Eruditus, Docentus, Secas, Semper, Amlas, Laureatus, Madrigal and Orange Optimus. These wines are appreciated for their freshness, fruitiness, finesse and richness of flavors, enhanced by higher acidity.
