COST project Affect-Evo 2024-2028, officially launched in Brussels, with our university as coordinator for Romania

The COST Affect-Evo project (2024-2028) was officially launched in Brussels on 10 October 2024 at the first meeting of the project in Brussels, attended by 23 national coordinators.
Romania is represented by three institutions – Academy for Economic Studies Studii Bucharest, Transylvanian Institute of Neuroscience and USAMV Cluj-Napoca, our university being appointed national coordinator.
Several researchers from the Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Biotechnology, members of the Human-Animal Interaction Research Lab ( www.hair.ro ), coordinated by Prof. Dr Alina Rusu, from USAMV Cluj-Napoca, are participating in the project.
The COST Affect-Evo project (2024-2028) focuses on the interdisciplinary study of affect (emotions and states) in animals in relation to welfare.
