Cluj Horticulture Days, on the USAMV Cluj-Napoca campus, May 16-18, with themed workshops, drone demonstrations, recreational activities and sales of flowers, vegetables or fruit trees

The University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine (USAMV) Cluj-Napoca is hosting, between 16-18 May 2025, in the organization of the Faculty of Business in Horticulture and Rural Development, the annual event Cluj Horticulture Days – 4th edition.

On the generous plateau in front of the “Mihai Șerban” Aula Magna Hall, for three days, between 10.00 – 19.00, horticulture enthusiasts, specialists and visitors will have free access to a varied program: thematic and interactive workshops, practical demonstrations with drones, horticultural equipment and accessories, recreational activities and a rich exhibition with the sale of horticultural and handicraft products – flowers, ornamental and aromatic plants, seedlings, fruit trees, tools and equipment.

As for every edition, visitors will interact with specialists from our faculty or invited guests, who propose workshops and demonstrations for all ages: from succulent plant creations and the napkin technique, to the use of drones in horticulture, in vitro terataries or digital promotion tools. Children’s activities will include tourist orientation on the campus, handmade arrangements, henna tattoos or creative games, while adults will also enjoy wine and local produce tastings, presentations on good gardening practices, selective collection, pest control technologies or promoting the short supply chain.

The Cluj Horticulture Days are also  an important event for the students of our faculty, who will have the opportunity to interact with successful graduates of our university and enjoy a pleasant meeting with the community.
