International Plant Health Day, marked by the Faculty of Agriculture with the “Innovation and Agro-intelligence in Plant Protection (IAIPP)” conference and a demonstration with agricultural drones

International Plant Health Day is marked annually on 12 May, and on this occasion, a dedicated conference, organized by the Faculty of Agriculture, will be in the foreground at our university. The conference “Innovation and Agro-intelligence in Plant Protection (IAIPP)” will take place at the Biodiversity Research Center from 9.00 am, where the latest innovations and technologies used in plant protection will be discussed, with a focus on sustainable and environmentally friendly solutions.

The event will give students and teachers the unique opportunity to learn about the latest research in plant protection and interact with invited experts and professionals.

The first two hours of the conference are dedicated to the student competition on plant protection, followed by presentations by invited experts and an interactive discussion session. The program will continue outdoors, on the plateau in front of the “Mihai Șerban” Hall, where demonstrations with plant protection drones will take place.
