More than 700 students and 1,000 coordinating teachers took part in the 23rd Student Scientific Symposium

The USAMV Cluj-Napoca Student Scientific Symposium reached its 23rd edition and was held on May 8, 2025, with the participation of over 700 students and 1,000 coordinating professors, who shared their passion for research and presented projects in their favorite fields of study.

The annual meeting at our university had its official opening in the Aula Magna “Mihai Șerban”, followed by designated sections, at each faculty.

Following these deliberations of the academic committees, more than 120 prizes (specialized books and office supplies) were awarded, and our university was happy to offer wines of its own production at the Vinea Apoldia Maior Vineyard. The faculties of our university also supplemented the prizes with the support of private partners.

The 2025 edition of the Student Scientific Symposium was also attended by 18 teams of students and teachers from other universities in the country, whom we thank for their involvement and presentations of research projects.

The Student Scientific Symposium is already an academic tradition, a means to support and encourage the active involvement of students in the development and presentation of research projects and thus validate their quality as researchers. The aim of the event is to create the framework for the presentation and debate of individual or team work, with scientific and technical results, which are then evaluated by a panel of professors.
