The Union of Cluj Universities โ UBB, UTCN, UMF, USAMV, ANMGD, UAD invites you between ๐๐ โ๐๐ November ๐๐๐๐ , at ๐๐ฎ๐ ๐๐๐๐ (๐๐๐จ๐ซ๐ ๐ ๐๐๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐ฎ str. ๐ ), to a new edition of the symposium dedicated to the dialogue between art and science.
Following the success of the first edition in 2024, the event returns in an expanded format, bringing together the six universities in Cluj and strengthening interdisciplinary collaboration in the Cluj university centre. The topic of the ๐๐๐๐ edition is “Knowledge Ecologies”.
The programme includes :
โข keynote speeches delivered by special guests
โข round tables dedicated to major current issues
โข interdisciplinary sessions proposed by the six universities
โข musical performances, multimedia projections, visual interventions
โข contemporary art exhibitions.
The official opening of the event will take place on Thursday, 20 November 2025, at 9:00 a.m., at HUB UTCN, with the participation of the Rectors of the six universities.
USAMV Cluj-Napoca will be represented in several sessions scheduled during the two days of the symposium by Prof. Dr. Dan C. Vodnar โ President of the Senate, Prof. Dr. Corina Cฤtanฤ, Prof. Dr. Ciprian Ober, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Robert Purdoiu, Lect. Dr. Mihai Cucerzan. Participants in the symposium will also have the opportunity to admire the bioart exhibition-intervention, to which our university is also contributing.
