Eight representatives of our academic community appear in the Top World Ranking 2%, compiled by Stanford University in collaboration with ELSEVIER BV!

The latest edition of the ranking of the world’s most cited scientists, compiled by Stanford University (USA) in collaboration with Elsevier BV, features eight representatives of our academic community.

The ranking of the world’s most cited scientists is a publicly available database. The selection is based on the top 100,000 researchers worldwide, classified into 22 fields and 174 scientific subfields, according to the standard Science-Metrix classification.

The ranking is based on information provided by the +SCOPUS database and classifies the scientists with the most citations for both 2024 and their entire career.

Eight representatives of our academic community are included in the Top World Ranking 2%:
       • Prof. Dr. Dan Cristian VODNAR – Faculty of Food Science and Technology;
       • Prof. Dr. Andrei Daniel MIHALCA – Faculty of Veterinary Medicine;
       • Prof. Dr. Carmen SOCACIU – Faculty of Food Science and Technology;
