“Graduate Day – Career Fair” – 4th edition
Hundreds of final-year students, professors and successful graduates of our university will participate on 29 October 2025 in “Graduate Day – Career Fair”, an event that will be opened by the Rector of USAMV Cluj-Napoca, Prof. Dr. Cornel Cătoi, in the “Mihai Șerban” Aula Magna.
The event will be moderated by Prof. Dr. Ioana Pop, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Sorin Vâtcă, Vice-Rector for Social and Student Activities, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erzsebet Buta, Vice-Rector for Coordination with SDE and Relations with the Socio-Economic Environment, will also deliver messages at the official opening.
Other guests at the opening are Ciprian Boșca and Horia Pușcaș, senior advisors at AJOFM Cluj, along with those from the faculties: Dr. Eng. Vasile Roman – Agriculture, Drd. Eng. Ștefana Florina Părăuan – Horticulture and Business in Rural Development, Dr. Eng. Ioan Păun – Animal Husbandry and Biotechnology, Dr. Marius Boc – Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Eng. Cristian Balaș – Food Science and Technology, and Eng. Răzvan Cristian Ploscar – Forestry and Cadastre, administrator of Ortodromus SRL.
Each faculty will then run its own programme, with presentations, workshops and question-and-answer sessions. The workshop programme is as follows:
- Faculty of Agriculture – “Agriculture – a chance for the future”;
- Faculty of Horticulture and Rural Development Business – “Career Day – Look to the Future!”;
- Faculty of Animal Science and Biotechnology – “FZB solution for your future on the farm or in the laboratory”;
- Faculty of Veterinary Medicine – “From passion to profession – your guide to a successful career in veterinary medicine”;
- Faculty of Food Science and Technology – “Today’s graduate, tomorrow’s entrepreneur”;
- Faculty of Forestry and Cadastre – “The Map of Success: Milestones in graduates’ journey”.
