USAMV Cluj-Napoca is hosting the first workshop within the project “Optimised processing model for a traditional product with the certification of markers necessary for recognition of uniqueness at European level (PDO mark)”.

Our university, together with SC SICILIANA SRL Șimleu Silvaniei and the National Institute for Research and Development for Isotopic and Molecular Technologies INCDTIM Cluj-Napoca, is organising on Friday, 28 November 2025, the first workshop within the transfer project to the economic partner, no. 36 PTE “Optimised processing model for a traditional product with the certification of markers necessary for recognition of uniqueness at European level (PDO mark)”.

Entitled “Compositional evaluation of traditional products, identification of biochemical markers of specificity and particular aspects of the processing technology flow”, the event will take place in the Rural Economy Laboratory in the Faculty of Horticulture and Business in Rural Development Building, between 9.00 and 11.00.

The event offers an opportunity to discuss the progress of the project, technical aspects regarding the optimisation of traditional product processing, and the requirements for obtaining the European PDO mark.
