Inauguration of the BRD HUB USAMVCN, a space dedicated to student innovation and entrepreneurial education

The University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine (USAMV) Cluj-Napoca was honoured to host the inauguration of the new BRD HUB on campus on Tuesday, 24 March 2026, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Cornel Cătoi – Rector, the academic leadership and representatives of BRD Groupe Société Générale.

The new space dedicated to our students was designed and created in partnership with BRD Groupe Société Générale and represents an important part of USAMV Cluj-Napoca’s commitment to innovation and entrepreneurial education, which is also dedicated to collaboration with the professional world.

Students will be able to take part in numerous events, workshops and mentoring sessions, all aimed at strengthening links with specialists from various fields, for an education connected to the labour market and current economic realities.  

Through this initiative, USAMV Cluj-Napoca joins the national network of BRD HUBs in universities, an educational infrastructure comprising 30 hubs in 12 cities across Romania. They represent BRD’s firm commitment to education, innovation and the development of young people in Romania, through which students benefit not only from the infrastructure necessary for a successful academic journey, but also from concrete opportunities to interact with professionals and leaders from the business world.
