The USAMV Cluj-Napoca Career Guidance and Counselling Centre is organising three important workshops for students’ futures

Workshop: Who am I? – The professional profile between fantasy and reality

They say: “The right person in the right place”. But how do we know where we fit in? How well do we know ourselves? How accurate are our assessments? What internal models do we have of a “true professional”?

If these questions interest you, take part in the workshop.

What you’ll gain:

–        you’ll find out what a professional profile is and how it can help you

–        discover the traits that matter for professional success

–        you’ll visualise your internal model of the ideal professional and compare it with reality

–        see how you can objectively assess your professional profile here at USAMV

Workshop: Beyond inspirational speeches – questions that really help your career

Have you ever been to a presentation that seemed super motivational, but from which you didn’t understand anything concrete? Let’s see how we can change that.

In this workshop, we’ll discuss how to ask the questions that really matter – the ones that help you find out real information about companies, opportunities or people, beyond stories and slogans.

You’ll work on examples from real presentations and interviews and discover how to be strategically curious, not just polite.

What you’ll gain:

–        you’ll learn to spot empty rhetoric,

–        you’ll formulate clear and relevant questions,

–        you’ll gain the confidence to speak professionally, yet authentically.

Would you like to make changes in your life, but feel like you’re floundering? Are you worried about your professional future? Do you have options in mind, but they’re vague? Have you made a decision, but wonder how right it is?

Come and find out how people make decisions, see where you stand, and apply this knowledge to your own life.

You’ll gain a better understanding of:

–        The differences between people in the way they make decisions

–        What is important for making a good decision

–        What happens to us when we have to make decisions – emotionally, intellectually, behaviourally

–        Why the most important decisions are often the hardest

–        What factors influence decisions.
