Two gold medals and one silver for 2025 wines produced at the Apoldia Maior Vineyard

We are delighted to announce that the wines produced at the Vinea Apoldia Maior Vineyard have once again been recognised internationally at the 16th edition of the Catavinum World Wine & Spirits Competition, held from 15 to 25 February 2026.

Following the judging, our wines won three prestigious medals: two gold medals – for the 2025 Sauvignon Blanc Academicum and the 2025 Rosé Academicum, a blend of Fetească Neagră and Syrah – as well as a silver medal for the 2025 Traminer Roz Academicum.

The results were announced on 2 March 2026, and the competition, held in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain, brought together over 3,000 wines from more than 30 countries, confirming the scale and prestige of this international competition.

We are proud that our team’s passion, hard work and dedication are recognised internationally. Congratulations, Apoldia Maior Winery!
