Work Package Meeting, part of the EU-GIFT European Alliance, at USAMV Cluj-Napoca, 17–19 February

We are honoured to host, from 17–19 February 2026, the international Work Package Meeting within the EU-GIFT European Alliance, organised by the Faculty of Food Science and Technology and the Faculty of Horticulture and Business in Rural Development.

The event will bring together representatives from partner universities to develop joint study programmes; strengthen the EU-GIFT Virtual Campus; and promote academic mobility, inclusion, sustainability and innovation.

The official opening will take place on Tuesday, 17 February 2026, at the Biodiversity Research Centre, in the presence of the university’s management and the coordinator of the EU-GIFT Alliance, followed over the next three days by thematic working sessions and collaborative activities.

By organising this event, USAMV Cluj-Napoca reaffirms its active role in building the European Education and Research Area, as a member of the EU-GIFT Alliance – European University Alliance for Green and Innovative Food Systems, thereby contributing to the development of sustainable food systems and the strengthening of European academic cooperation.
