International Plant Health Day – Scientific Conference | IAIPP 2026

To mark International Plant Health Day – 12 May 2026, the Faculty of Agriculture is organising the ‘Innovation and Agro-Intelligence in Plant Protection (IAIPP)’ Conference, an event dedicated to promoting interdisciplinary research and emerging technologies in the field of plant protection.

The main objective of the conference is to facilitate dialogue between academia, researchers and practitioners, and the programme addresses current research trends, including: the use of digital technologies and artificial intelligence in agriculture; sustainable solutions for pest and disease management; and plant biosecurity in the context of global food security.

Taking part in this event offers the opportunity to explore innovative perspectives, strengthen scientific collaborations and contribute to the development of sustainable agricultural practices.
