Residency Centre in the subspecialty of Population Medicine at USAMV Cluj-Napoca

Members of the Educational Committee of the European College of Veterinary Public Health have approved the establishment, at USAMV Cluj-Napoca, of a Residency Centre in the subspeciality of Population Medicine.

The establishment of this centre represents a particularly significant achievement at regional and national level, positioning our university within a select and elite group of veterinary faculties in Europe that train veterinary specialists (ECVPH) to the highest professional standard, recognised by the European Board of Veterinary Specialisation (EBVS).

“It is a great pleasure that the members of the Education Committee have approved the application we submitted. This process involved the development and accreditation of a comprehensive professional training programme, running over a period of three years and structured around 180 ECTS credits,” said Assoc. Prof. Dr Constantin Cerbu – Programme Director and Supervisor of the future European residents.

Congratulations and best of luck to Associate Professor Dr Constantin Cerbu and the future European residents!
