USAMV Cluj-Napoca at the 36th edition of Agronomiada

Our university was represented, between 8 and 10 May 2026, at the 36th edition of Agronomiada, the successful annual event which brought together over 600 students and academic staff from six universities in Romania and the Republic of Moldova.
Agronomiada, one of the longest-running and most prestigious professional-scientific and sporting competitions in the agronomic academic community of Romania and the Republic of Moldova, was hosted this year by the University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine in Bucharest.

USAMV Cluj-Napoca was represented by 73 students and 29 academic staff, who competed in specialist professional and sporting events.

Our university’s delegation returned with 23 awards (19 academic and 4 sporting) and five honourable mentions.

Agronomiada 2026 brought together delegations from six universities specialising in agronomy in Romania and the Republic of Moldova:
